International Orders Information & Policies

Direct From Mexico is proud to offer our products to customers worldwide. To help eliminate fraudulent ordering, please follow the instructions below.

Please read and follow these important steps and policies for international orders:

Payments Methods Accepted

For international orders, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Cards ONLY.

We do not accept any other form of payment such as Certified Bank Checks, Travelers Checks, Direct Wire Transfers or Money Orders.

It is our policy that all international orders must be prepaid in US dollar funds.

At this time, we only accept PayPal purchases from U.S. PayPal accounts with U.S. shipping addresses.

Customs Policy

When shipping your order outside the US and US territories, you may be subject to import taxes which are levied when your package reaches your country. Additional charges that may apply for customs clearance must be paid by the customer. We have no control over these tariffs, and therefore cannot predict what they may be. Please contact your local customs office for further inquiries. Moreover, when ordering from Directfrommexico.com, you are considered the importer of record and consequently, you must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

If shipping company cannot collect duties, customs and/or brokerage fees from consignee, Direct From Mexico will charge the applicable fees to the customer's credit card on record.

We would like our international customers to be aware that over-the-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. In addition, we may be required to supply certain order, shipment and product information to international carriers. This information will be communicated to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and to comply with local laws.

Customs authorities require us to state the value of your order on all customs forms.

Orders may be held up in customs for inspection, resulting in a delay in receiving your order. Please contact your customs office regarding shipment delays.

International Terms Agreement
When you place an order that is to be billed and/or shipped to an address outside the U.S., we will ask you to agree to our international terms agreement via e-mail. The Terms Agreement states that the customer will be responsible for all import taxes, tariffs or other import or customs fees. Your order will not be processed or shipped until we receive your reply.
Shipping International Orders

Sorry, we do not offer free international shipping.

International orders and orders shipped outside of the 48 contiguous United States require additional shipping and handling fees. You may also be asked to provide an alternate method of payment if the billing address is not verifiable. You must reply to the international shipping quote via e-mail to accept or decline the additional freight charges. Your international order will not be processed until the additional freight charges are accepted. Once the additional shipping charges are accepted via e-mail your order will be processed. If the additional freight charges are declined or we receive no e-mail response within 72 hours regarding the additional freight fee, your order will be automatically canceled.

Your order will be shipped via small package carrier or freight shipper, depending on the size of your order. All small orders will be shipped FEDEX International. Large furniture orders will be shipped by ground freight.

***It is EXTREMELY important that you provide us with your COMPLETE physical address, which includes a VALID postal code. Once your package leaves the United States, we are not responsible for lost packages, and you will not receive a refund.***

Return Policy
We want all our customers to be satisfied with their purchase, but if you are not simply return it and we will credit you for the entire amount of your merchandise. This does not apply to special orders — only to normal stock items.

The item(s) you are returning need to arrive back to us in the same condition as when it left our warehouse. Please repack appropriately to protect during shipping. For damaged package claims see our Damage Policy below.

Please note: Shipping charges are not refundable and the return charges are the customers responsibility.

Damages
Direct From Mexico cannot be responsible for damages once items leave the US. We make every effort to package orders to arrive undamaged. Customs inspectors may open packages and alter the packing materials.
Warranties and Handcrafted Goods
Direct from Mexico makes no warranties, neither expressed or implied, for fitness for the consumers particular use. The customer acknowledges that hand made goods are inherently imperfect and vary in size, finish and dimension. All products susceptible to pest infestation have been treated. We make every effort to inspect our goods before shipping to assure quality.
