| "While a good friend who owns a local sawmill is custom building a mesquite dining table for me, I decided to find chairs from the same wood somewhere online. Direct From Mexico in Tucson, Arizona, had exactly what I wanted. Six side chairs and two end arm chairs came to well over $4,000, more than I had ever come close to spending on line! And for a product I could not first inspect... I phoned customer service to see if perhaps there were a prior customer somewhere in my neck of the woods, someone to serve as a reference and maybe even to allow me to inspect their furniture. Nothing anywhere near me. But the fellow on the other end of the line was as genial and accommodating as they come, a man with over a decade on the store's staff. Never got his name. Friendly, funny, a story-teller, fully understanding of my concern, quite knowledgeable about mesquite and the techniques of fashioning furniture from it. He totally put my mind at ease to the point that I had no qualms whatever remaining about a truly major, sight-unseen, credit-card, Internet purchase. Not only will I have my lovely mesquite chairs for life (they arrived within two weeks or so by FedEx Freight), but I plan on being Direct From Mexico's customer for life as well." |

| "Fairly priced. Delivery of items was very quick and they had items in stock unlike other merchants that I tried. The delivery service that is used (federal express) is not flexible. Be prepared to have to help the driver take the order off the truck (in the case of furniture). Unless you are available to do that they will not deliver the furniture. I had to get the merchant involved with federal express to get the items delivered. The assistance I received from Directfrommexico was excellent." |
